Componentry includes aluminium frame construction, control panels, light switching, back lighting, rear view mirrors, fuse box harness, exenon lights and an integrated breakdown simulator box. All systems are fuse protected and the control panels allow access for full data measurements safely.
By using the training simulator, students will gain a better understanding of vehicle communication protocols, recognise through visual electronic aids analog and multiplexing differences, perform real time projects using the training simulator and/or donor vehicle plus carry out simulated network breakdown tasks as pre-programmed into the simulator by the automotive class instructor.
