Step 1.
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST COMPLETE THIS STEP FIRST
Download and install Host Pro version 1.70 HostProSetup.exe (20MB).
TIP: WHEN YOU HAVE INSTALLED THIS SOFTWARE PRESS F1 ON YOUR PC AND FULL INSTRUCTIONS ARE DISPLAYED.
Step 2.
Download the latest OS software UPGRADE.ZIP (877KB).
* This step is only required one time to load the latest operating system software. This comprises of 5 binary files so your scan tool will recognise the new Host Pro software and server reader.
Step 3.
On the scan tool, select CONFIGURATION, SPECIAL FUNCTION, DOWNLOAD SOFTWARE, select download method i.e. USB/RS232 (making sure the scan tool and PC are linked together).
Step 4.
IMPORTANT: ONLY AFTER YOU HAVE REGISTERED ON-LINE USING HOST PRO THEN FAX THROUGH YOUR REGISTRATION ACTIVATION DETAILS. WE CANNOT ACTIVATE YOUR UPDATE IF THIS STEP IS NOT COMPLETED FIRST.
Go to your PC and follow the registration details in Host Pro Ver 1.70 after selecting UPDATE (third button from the left) and then click CONNECT.
Wait approx. 15 seconds before continuing, latest updates will appear on the left , with boxes ticked if they are new versions - follow registration details if your scan tool is unregistered.
Reconnect to the computer and select update. A loading bar will appear at the bottom indicating files are being transferred. After this step has been completed you will be asked to contact the dealer.

On receipt of this information we will extend your update period for a full 12 month period or 365 days 24/7. Please note any new software development for example the new Falcon G series, Land Rover software will be included as standard.
* The Ultraplexer module should be checked and upgraded after software updates installation.
