Terms & Conditions and Returns/Refunds Policy

Returns and Refunds are only accepted using our procedure as follows:

General

Returns can only be made by prior agreement with Mount Auto Equip Services Pty Ltd. This maybe by phone call, email or, letter.

Any product returned to us must be returned with all associated items originally sent as part of the product and in the same packaging, unless otherwise agreed in writing with Mount Auto Equip Services Pty Ltd. If the item has a packaging seal and this seal is broken, this item cannot be returned.

You should return any product to us via a suitably insured means based on the value of the product. You should retain any receipt confirming the return. If returned products are lost we will not be liable for them.

Software and Electronic items can only be returned if the seal on the product is completely intact. The only exception to this is if the product is faulty. Should this be the case, please contact us.

Unwanted Goods

We are not obliged to accept the return of an unwanted good unless covered by the Australian Distance Selling Regulations. In that instance, you will be required to notify us in writing within 7 working days after the date of delivery. The goods must be returned in an unused and re-saleable condition within 7 days of our receipt of your cancellation. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

After 7 working days of the date of delivery, we are entitled to accept returns at our discretion. Contact us to find out if this is possible. Any goods returned will be unopened and in a re-saleable condition, and will be subject to an administration and handling fee of up to 20% of the invoice value. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item back to us.

Postage and packing costs are non-refundable.

Damaged, Defective or Faulty Goods

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of the goods or the goods are damaged or wrongly supplied, you must give written notice to Mount Auto Equip Services Pty Ltd within 7 working days of delivery. We will arrange as our option to refund or replace the goods.

Privacy

Whether you buy from us, contact us with an enquiry or subscribe to our mailing list, we will NOT sell or rent your details to third parties.

We may contact you on occasion by email or post to provide you with details of new products or services, with details of special offers or with information we believe may be of interest to you.

You may leave our mailing list at any time. You can also contact our sales team to request that you are removed from future emails or post.

We will not ship any goods until payment has been received (and cleared) in full.

Placing an order through this website does not guarantee that goods will be despatched and does not create a commitment on our part (or yours) to complete the transaction.

We do not guarantee that the prices quoted on the website are correct. If you place an order and are shown an incorrect price, we will contact you to inform you of the correct price. We are not obliged to sell at the incorrect price.

Use of this website is at your own risk. We cannot be held responsible for orders lost or misplaced in transit.

Problems

In the event that any items are lost or damaged during transit, please contact us via the 'Contact Us' page on the website.

Australia Post require 30 working days (from the postal date) before they consider an item lost. It is also worth checking with your local Post Office to see if they are holding the parcel.

  • We are not responsible for items sent to an incorrectly supplied address. 
  • We are not responsible for items you forget to collect in time from Australia Post. Item(s) returned to us will incur an additional fee for re posting.

Returns

We can only accept items returned to us within reasonable time (7 days) from the date your order was purchased. All items must be returned to us before a refund or replacement is issued. Please thoroughly inspect any item you order from us on receipt as we will only accept products returned to us in their original condition and fit for re-sale unless we have been given prior notice that an item is faulty. Delivery charges are non refundable.

For 'return to sender' or 'delivery refused', there will be 15% restocking fee from the subtotal.

To ensure no loss or damage in the mail, all returns must be sent registered with tracking and tracking details must be quoted via email.

Returns with scissor marks will not be accepted. Items must be returned to us in an unused condition.
For wrong choice, changed mind or otherwise, there will be 35% restocking fee from the subtotal.

Faults

If the item you received is faulty, please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. Please contact us via the 'Contact Us' page on the website We will then advise on how to proceed. You have 7 days from receipt of the faulty item to return it to us.

Special Conditions 

Mount Auto Equip Services Pty Ltd will not accept any responsibility for any variation in shade, material, specifications or composition shown within our website. Cancelled orders are only permitted with prior authorisation of Mount Auto Equip Services Pty Ltd. We have the right to refuse to accept a cancelled order for any reason and as such the customer is responsible for all cost and the items are deemed non-returnable for any reason. Website colours should be used as a guide only. 

Fraud, High Risk or other customers

We reserve the right to refuse orders not originating from Australia or Australian credit card holders due to high fraud risk.

Mount Auto Equip Services Pty Ltd accepts PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, cheque or Netbank transfer. You do not have to have a PayPal account to make a transaction.

CODs We do not accept COD's.

Under certain circumstances or on some occasions, next day or overnight shipping logistics may not be possible or may be unavailable. We are unable to guarantee this service and a 1-5 business day shipping period is agreed as acceptable.
